Our very talented Quiz Master – Ian Sinclair – who with his encyclopaedic knowledge of the graveyard and local history really tested our brains this time.

With the delicious pies (from Macqueens) eaten, and a second round of pints being sipped, we listen to the answers.

We are very gratefully to the members of the Fundraising Committee who helped at this event – even to the washer of the Church tea-towels.

Graveyard Quiz and Pie and a Pint Supper
Meet in the Church Centre at 6.30pm on Friday 17th July to get your quiz sheet – search the Graveyard to answer the questions – followed by a pie and a pint – there will be a cash bar stocked with wine, beer, cider and soft drinks. Tickets are £10 available through Church members.

Friday 20th February 2026 at 7.30 MUSICAL RECITAL featuring organ, flute, violin, and piano : music by Bach, Widor, Lefebure-Wely, Alinoni, Faure, Godard, Stravinsky and Wieniawski. Tickets priced £6 available at the door or from Print Point.

The Fundraising Committee will be providing the catering for the Bute Horticultural Annual Show on Saturday 30th August 2025.

Our next Soup and Sweet Lunch will be on the 27th September 2025.

The Soup and Sweet Lunch on the 1st March 2025 raised the amazing sum of £1,000 – and much chat and laughter too.
