On Sunday 17th August 2025 at 5.30 pm there will be an ecumenical ‘St Blane’s Service’ held up the hill at St Blane’s Chapel. The weather forecast is saying it will still be hot and sunny – so bring water, wear a hat and sunscreen and, of course, midge repellant can sometimes be helpful too!

This was sunrise on Easter Day, 20th April 2025 at the ruins of St Blane’s Church, the ancient site of Christian Worship at the south end of Bute. Today about 30 folk from all the different congregations held a glorious, happy ecumenical service shortly after dawn. We thank Anne who was there before as and caught this stunning image.
At Bute Horticultural Society’s Annual Show on Saturday 30th August 2025, to be held in the Church and Hall, the catering will be provided by the Fundraising Team.
